Exploration

ConsMin holds 1,290km2 of tenure prospective for manganese in Australia, with the majority of activity within the main mine corridor where we continue to grow existing deposits and identify new resources. Woodie Woodie manganese deposits are hydrothermal in origin consisting of both structurally and stratigraphically controlled ore bodies with complex geometries.

Critical to our success is in-house experience and technical expertise in exploration, resource definition, geophysics and resource geology. ConsMin's long term view on discovery and province development sees us investing more than $30m on exploration and resource development activity annually, with exploration programs incorporating reverse circulation (RC), diamond drilling and a variety of geophysical surveys.

The 2019 exploration program saw the most metres drilled at Woodie Woodie in our nearly 70 year history.
